My view ‘finder’.

While I can give you an artist’s statement…I find them rather redundant.

Either my art connects or it doesn’t. On some level, I cannot control the emotions of the viewer. While I can create an image with the intention of moving the viewer one way or another, once it leaves my hands and heart, it’s on it’s own. 

I create my art because I’m drawn to the beauty of nature in all it’s forms. 

I use a camera and a computer. They are tools like any other. Is one hammer better than another? Maybe incrementally, but it’s the mind of the builder that creates. If I hand you my camera, would you take the same images as I do? Would you see them same things? Nope. So my real tool is my heart and mind. The physical tool has less importance than most think.
