And then there are some gigs I’ll be happy to work for free. This one is one of those – but I did get paid too! Every year the town opens the pool to the dogs! Only dogs, no people in the pool. And if you’re sad or down, spending 2 hours watching dogs run, jump and splash in the pool will pull you out of the darkness. They are exploding with sheer joy! This handsome boy is in the shepard family – but I’ve forgotten the breed. He was so statuesque and proud!

The only downside to working at a pool is that electronics and water don’t mix – so I need to be so very careful – but I will never turn down the chance to do it!
