Last weekend I did something I wait at last 6 month for and sometimes a full year.

The Raptor Trust has its semi annual Focus on Raptors photo event. This is where a small number of photographers are able to take photos of a small number of birds, the staff take out of their cages. These birds are ‘education’ birds and are used to being around humans. They, TRT, do this to raise funds to continue doing their great work – helping all birds, but especially raptors.

These magnificent creatures fill and heal my soul.
